Honoring Women’s History Month

Posted on March 31, 2022

Honoring Women’s History Month, we’re showcasing the achievements of some of the women business leaders for whom we’ve provided graphic design, web design, and web development solutions. Here’s how these exceptional women are broadening the business landscape.

Keisha Hunt, President, and CEO, of Metas Solutions, is our first honoree.

Keisha Hunt started her company with one goal: to make sure she didn’t lose her house. She left one school while she was pregnant because her academic advisors—or in this case, her naysayers—claimed that the degree program was too difficult for single mothers to complete. She proved them wrong by enrolling in the Rollins School of Public Health at Emory University and graduating with a high GPA and an 11-month-old on her hip. She and her husband went on to create a successful company, Metas Solutions, which consults with the federal government to create actionable solutions in the public health IT space. Helping the CDC create a Web-based system that supports the agency’s Vaccines for Children program is just one of her many accomplishments as a government contractor.

Keisha has overcome numerous obstacles to become the CEO of three offices, with a Washington, D.C., location opening soon. She continues to thrive and build a successful brand that enhances the lives of others.

Stacey Key, President and CEO, Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council

Our next honoree is Stacey Key, president and CEO of the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council. Stacey is a seasoned corporate executive, having worked at IBM, AT&T, Schlumberger, and Samsung Telecommunications. She is also an accomplished entrepreneur, with more than 15 years of experience at the helm of a successful family business. Under her leadership, the GMSDC has grown to be one of the top-performing councils in the NMSDC network, receiving numerous recognitions as the NMSDC’s Council of the Year. Stacey has been named among the Atlanta Business League’s 100 Top Women of Influence, Engineering Georgia’s 100 Influential Women to Know, and DiversityPlus Magazine’s Top 25 Women in Power Impacting Diversity. Stacey remains actively involved in the community, and her honors speak to the strength of her leadership throughout Georgia.
